What a great day of bocce. Thanks to everyone for coming down and tossing your hearts out in four spectacularly competitive match-ups!
Unfortunately we have to say goodbye to the four teams who were nudged out of the tournament this afternoon. A big thank you to Dog Face Boys, That’s Bocce Said, Close to Spectacular and Sandy Balls for your enthusiasm and support throughout the season and in this tournament. You should all be very proud of your success and triumphs in this league, and we wish you the best in the future.
Which means the final four teams, moving on to tomorrow’s final games to decide the winners, are Let Me See Your Bocce Roll, Bi-occe, Team Tony (Danza) and Chewbocce. Congratulations to all of you for your hard fought wins this afternoon!
Sunday’s games will be a little different than todays because there will only be the final four duking it out to determine the winners, however the start times will be the same as today. They begin as follows:
Game 1
1pm – Let Me See Your Bocce Roll vs. Bi-occe
Game 2
2:30pm – Team Tony (Danza) vs. Chewbocce
Game 3 (playing for 3rd place)
4pm – Loser of Game 1 vs. Loser of Game 2
Game 4 (playing for 1st and 2nd place)
5:30pm – Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2
Put your game faces on because tomorrow is going to be epic! Please remember…. even though you all are winners in my book, only 3 teams are going home with a prize. No pressure 🙂
